Villa Details
Villa Monte Palmeiras is a spacious villa set in large grounds in an established residential area of similar properties located to the north of Alvor and north-west of Portimao. There are views of the town of Lagos and the sea in the Alvor Estuary and Bay of Lagos. Although in the countryside, the major town of Portimao is close by (about 7 minutes drive) and provides all types of shopping and entertainment. Famous beaches, including Alvor, Meia Praia and Praia da Rocha are within easy reach (within 10 minutes drive). Entertainment and night-life, including Casino, bars and restaurants can also be found at Praia da Rocha.
The villa has a very large open-plan living space with separate dining area (with formal dining table and chairs), main lounge area (with wood burning stove) and second lounge area (with TV, satellite, HiFi and DVD player). The main lounge and dining areas both have patio doors to a part-covered terrace area with tables and chairs for outdoor dining.
There are 3 bedrooms to sleep a maximum of 6 people (2 bedrooms with twin beds and one with a double bed). A 4th bedroom (with separate entrance) can be rented as an option to sleep a further 2 adults plus chid (twin beds plus child's bed). All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms (with bath and shower over) and there is a separate cloakroom.
The large plot (5000sq) includes a sweeping driveway with parking for several cars and mature trees that offer welcome summer shade. The 32' by 16' (approx 10m by 5m) salt-water swimming pool is located in a very private walled and gated terrace area close to the villa. There are several covered, shaded and open terrace areas with chairs, tables and sun-loungers for outdoor dinning or relaxing in, or out of, the sun. There are small and large charcoal BBQ's to suit the size of your party.
All towels and linen are provided (except for pool/beach towels). Maid service is included to clean and change the towels mid-week and, for longer stays, towels and linen weekly.
